Is it alright to hangout with a guy who has a girlfriend?

A guy and I used to message for like 2 months in a flirty way recently added me back on instagram after I unfollowed him 3 years ago for following 1 of my close girlfriends on instagram while we were talking. He never followed her before we began talking and did it during the time we spoke. I took this as kind of disrespect to me because they had never met or talked before and the whole thing just felt fishy. After I asked my girlfriend if he followed her randomly she confirmed he did; call me insecure or jealous all you want but thats besides the point of this story. Anyway, I unfollowed him and stopped talking to him. Covid happened we lost contact, I got into a 3 year relationship and then got out of it this year in February. Im single now and suddenly I get a follow from this same guy I talked to years ago. I didn't care about what had happened before anymore since it was so long ago and so many years have passed, like honestly who cares anymore haha so I added him back. Looking at his stories on instagram, I see he has a girlfriend now yet still watches all of my stories and sometimes dm's me about something I posted. Just recently he messaged me about the new town he moved into which just so happens to be the town I grew up in before I moved years ago. He asked for good hiking spots to go to out there & I told him about one thats pretty secret and tricky to find, it's my favorite. I said I would have to show him but I don't know if I can cause I don't want to step on any toes. He assured I wouldn't be & mentioned his available days. How do you think he views me? What are his intentions you think? Is it okay if I do just go and show him the spot? We never met before either just talked before years ago so it'd be the first time I met him. I don't have any bad intentions but I don't know what he's thinking and kinda don't want to ask haha
