I mean, guys generally kinda totally suck ngl. Buuut there some that are lovely asf! I would try my best to remain hypercautious and very attentive toward any red flag behaviors while you attempt to get to know him.

It's seriously shitty to judge someone based on their bummer father but reality is that most of the time, parents are a child's number one influence on aggression and violence. The question often becomes... how much of these horrible behaviors have they inherited? And not 𝘪𝘧 they did. Essentially you have to do whatever you can to keep yourself safe.

Good thing is that there are obvs some exceptions to this with particular people. Take me for example, for some reason (by the grace of God lol) I turned out the complete opposite and there are few things I'm more thankful for in life.

My father just passed away a few months ago but while he was alive, oh man did he have some shitty views on many things. He also had an outlook that couldn't be more misaligned with mine and it was due to ignorance and pessimism. He was also def a racist, ethnocentrist and a chauvinist... tbh I'd go as far as to call him a legit patriarchist lol. So basically all the good shit you know?

Taking a look at me as a young adult/adult though, I've consistently held like zero prejudice toward anyone, I'm a pretty devoted feminist and believe deeply in equal rights. Also homie had absolutely no patience whatsoever, raised his voice and was psychically abusive, wherein I have essentially endless patience, never physically hurt anyone in my life and I basically never raise my voice.
Not many things would upset me more than if people were to judge me based on his actions, views etc. To not be given a chance based on someone else is super unjust and discriminatory in itself.

You gotta give people the benefit of the doubt but that's SECONDARY to keeping yourself safe ♥️
