Ugh, I remember that feeling and the best thing I can suggest is to try not to fixate on it, and don’t set your expectations too high. That way if nothing comes of this situation you won’t be disappointed. I will also say that if nothing comes of it, you should really leave that guy. Like 7 years and no ring? For a woman I’m sure he knows would say yes? If it doesn’t happen now it never will.
