The guy my friend was seeing got upset because when he suggested they just be friends after they slept together, she started seeing/sleeping with another guy a week later. It seems hypocritical, because he's doing the exact same thing. Why would he be upset/mad?

She needs to drop him at all costs. He holds possessive behaviors even though he is basically the one holding the deciding factor on whether they should date or not.

Everyone has a right to be upset... because that's what they are thinking. Whether it's acceptable to be upset in a given situation is something else.
