Just have fun! Hold hands maybe a little kiss. If you don't feel comfortable doing anything remember it's okay. No matter how cute you think he is, being cute only goes so far. Happily. If it doesn't, then probably there shouldn't be a second date. It doesn't have to end with a kiss. When I was dating, sometimes it did, sometimes it didn't. If I liked her and she indicated that she wanted to be kissed, then I did. If she didn't, that was ok too. It didn't mean there wouldn't be a second date. It was a little while before my wife and I kissed. When we finally did, it took an hour.

There should be a hightened interest and you should have looseded up some. Next should be fun and more of those.
By the third hopefully you'll know some of their depth or have a good idea about there being something at depth that they could go into should they be comfortable.

I believe the best first date is if you end on a platonic clause, such as a shoulder tapping hug, or a pat on the back. If you guys get married, you can tell your kids you did not kiss until 3 months into the relationship, your kids will respect you more and so will your grand kids.

A first date should be getting comfortable with each other and know the basics. Don’t expect anything, just go with the flow and try to enjoy each other’s company. I don’t think there’s any rule for a first date. Just have fun and don’t be too invested into pressing a person for deep serious convos. I had a guy scare me off because he was including me in plans that were months on , on the first date.

Depends how well you know the person. If you don't know them well, it should be about getting to know them and have a good conversation. If you already know them well, it should be fun, doing some fun activity maybe, flirting and so on.

Both should pay for the other. That shows that both are willing to commit to the other. A lot of problems start by partners being unappreciative of each other. I have an old view on things but this rule about men paying for the first date is bullshit.
