The only reason to dump someone after they confessed to being abused sexually is if they exhibited bizarre behavior or tried to abuse you.
Humans are resiient and can get over most trauma. If they're in a good place and treat you and themselves well, it's just a part of their story. Perhaps they are the stronger for surviving it.
