If she knew I was attracted (and often times people can tell) I'd be in a position that makes me borderline angry because if the kiss is just some tease then she's playing with my emotions.

That being said I often try not to develop deep attraction towards someone unless I'm already actively trying to be with the person.

Taking the kiss is a step towards closure and also a subtle way to get even as girls rarely kiss someone with no emotions involved. Meaning if you kiss her passionately enough she'll remember it and with time might come to regret the games she played (by then it would be too late of course) but you get to walk away knowing that it wasn't just you who got played
