So I had planned a date with a guy I met on Instagram. I actually had met him 3 years ago on tinder..
Well recently we hit it off on Instagram. I said to him maybe we should meet up and we set up a date. He seemed to be all for it. We preplanned a week earlier.
Unfortunately he lives way further from where I live so I was about to cancel everything and cut him off completely. But he said that it’s ok and that we can figure it out and meet halfway. So I agreed.
Today as we were getting ready and 2 hours before the date. He says this:
Luckily I feel thankful cause I haven’t had any sleep and I’m overwhelmed/ overworked. I also didn’t have anything good to wear. So I’m glad he canceled actually. 😓😓😓😓 I never been to no date ever before in my life and this was stressing me out completely.
However, now I also feel confused. He even had told me he drove all the way to my city to where I am. So why would a guy do this. He knows what I look like from Instagram. I have images and videos of myself. So it’s not like he has no clue how I look. Same with him. We’re the same age.
Was he scared like me? Was he turned off by something? Have you canceled on a girl? Has a guy canceled on you?
Now I’m starting to feel ugly. Should I block him?
