There is this amazing guy who was chasing me for 2 years long. He told me several times that he loved me but I am in a troubled relationship since a couple of before meeting him and despite I liked him a lot, I always rejected him in order to be faithful to my boyfriend. However, since 3 months ago, he stopped chasing me, because he got a girlfriend but he keeps contacting me every some few days to chat with me and see how I'm doing, but he has stopped asking me to hang out with him and he has told me that he has met this new girl. At the beginning I felt happy for him, because I always thought that he deserved a better woman than me, but lately, despite we are still in touch very regularly, I miss him, I miss his love confessions and I miss his constant attempts to date me. I somehow feel that he really loved me all this time and that another woman gets his beautiful attention. I mean, we are friends now, and he demonstrates me that he is a real friend who didn't abandon me after rejection but at the same time this fact makes me want to be with him but I'm afraid to tell him because of his new girlfriend.

Why is he still in touch with you? Let me guess... You led him on, you used him to make you feel important, and you friendzoned him while the poor guy was giving you the most obvious signs of love and attraction. Did you ask him to be just friends?
