When you meet someone new what are your rules or style for texting?

Personal: I do text for text, if we never had sex and she doesn't reply, she's gone.

If she takes two hours I generally take two hours to reply.

I keep things short, I don't wanna date a chat gpt. It's nice to get to know you a little but I prefer in person.

I will be real man, I hate texting women, especially women that I met because I have always been bad at texting women and it is too easy to misinterpret what is said minus tonality and facial expressions.

I would hit them up and see when they were free to set a definite date, (day, time, location and what we would be doing) and would save talk for then. If they tried reaching out and talking to me between dates I would keep it brief like 2 or 3 messages of conversation before going "it was great talking to you, but I got to run and get some more things done. See you on x day". It may seem rude and cold, but I tell guys to save conversation for the date because it is way too easy to talk a woman out of liking you and to kill the mystery before the date even happens. It comes across as having too much time to text her when you should be busy with other things like work, friends, goals. If you have constant time to text her it shows needy behavior and lack of ambition which are big attraction killers.

My rule is I don't text women a lot or carry conversations like that unless exclusivity has happened. Because by that point I have made the decision I like her for a relationship and you don't have to risk ruining the chance of the relationship potential by doing what I said above.

By the way, change it up and actually call. It shows more on your end and more directness instead of time wasting with back and forth texting that can be resolved with a simple call.

I don't text at all. Don't try to send me a text either, it won't do you any good because I have messaging disabled on my phone and always will.

I only text people when I genuinely need to ask them something or to arrange a meeting. I don't do small talk through text that annoys me.
