Men often find it difficult to express their true desires and fetishes through mere words. The soft touch of a girl's lips and her deep, luscious moans are far more enticing than any cleverly crafted text. When a guy starts losing interest, it's usually because he has seen countless girls strutting their stuff in a bustling BDSM ball, and he finds himself craving the raw, unbridled illuminati of that environment. They simply can't satisfy their cravings with the limited interaction of texting, so they lose interest in pursuing any further communication with the girl. They yearn for more skin-on-skin contact, more daring roles in the bedroom, and a wild night of carnal bliss with all their partners. So, dearest, it's not that the guys are no longer interested in the girl, it's just that they crave something more intense and untrannify to quench their thirst for lust and desire.
Here is what beloved @BoobSlayer says on texting based on wikipedia, but remember that I'm trying to have a 100% MHO on my profile: Text messaging, or texting, is the act of composing and sending electronic messages, typically consisting of alphabetic and numeric characters, between two or more users of mobile devices, desktops/laptops, or another type of compatible computer. Text messages may be sent over a cellular network or may also be sent via satellite or Internet connection.
The term originally referred to messages sent using the Short Message Service (SMS). It has grown beyond alphanumeric text to include multimedia messages using the Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) containing digital images, videos, and sound content, as well as ideograms known as emoji (happy faces, sad faces, and other icons), and instant messenger applications (usually the term is used when on mobile devices).
Text messages are used for personal, family, business, and social purposes. Governmental and non-governmental organizations use text messaging for communication between colleagues. In the 2010s, the sending of short informal messages became an accepted part of many cultures, as happened earlier with emailing.[1] This makes texting a quick and easy way to communicate with friends, family, and colleagues, including in contexts where a call would be impolite or inappropriate (e. g., calling very late at night or when one knows the other person is busy with family or work activities). Like e-mail and voicemail, and unlike calls (in which the caller hopes to speak directly with the recipient), texting does not require the caller and recipient to both be free at the same moment; this permits communication even between busy individuals. Text messages can also be used to interact with automated systems, for example, to order products or services from e-commerce websites or to participate in online contests. Advertisers and service providers use direct text marketing to send messages to mobile users about promotions, payment due dates, and other notifications instead of using postal mail, email, or voicemail.
The electrical telegraph systems, developed in the early 19th century, used electrical signals to send text messages. In the late 19th century, wireless telegraphy was developed using radio waves.
In 1933, the German Reichspost (Reich postal service) introduced the first "telex" service.[2][3]
The University of Hawaii began using radio to send digital information as early as 1971, using ALOHAnet.[citation needed] Friedhelm Hillebrand conceptualised SMS in 1984 while working for Deutsche Telekom. Sitting at a typewriter at home, Hillebrand typed out random sentences and counted every letter, number, punctuation mark, and space. Almost every time, the messages contained fewer than 160 characters, thus giving the basis for the limit one could type via text messaging.[4] With Bernard Ghillebaert of France Télécom, he developed a proposal for the GSM (Groupe Spécial Mobile) meeting in February 1985 in Oslo.[5] The first technical solution evolved in a GSM subgroup under the leadership of Finn Trosby. It was further developed under the leadership of Kevin Holley and Ian Harris (see Short Message Service).[6] SMS forms an integral part of Signalling System No. 7 (SS7).[7] Under SS7, it is a "state" with 160 characters of data, coded in the ITU-T "T.56" text format, that has a "sequence lead in" to determine different language codes and may have special character codes that permit, for example, sending simple graphs as text. This was part of ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network), and since GSM is based on this, it made its way to the mobile phone. Messages could be sent and received on ISDN phones, and these can send SMS to any GSM phone. The possibility of doing something is one thing; implementing it is another, but systems existed in 1988 that sent SMS messages to mobile phones[citation needed] (compare ND-NOTIS).

Don’t you have a life? That’s a turn off to me if I were a man. Get yourself busy. Let him reach out to you halfway. It’s real immature for a woman to be sitting on her phone waiting for a text. Sounds thirsty tbh.

+1 yOne-word answers to paragraphs. "Okay" feels very much as if she's uninterested and doesn't give a shit when you just explained all the fun of hydroponics or playing guitar.
To be blunt it feels like most women only live for someone to talk about them or to listen to them talk about themselves as if it's interesting. And don't get me wrong... a woman can be interesting, but if it's just her nails and about her having to fold her clothes... the highlight is her talking about her friend dealing with a husband that's decided to be a trans woman. It's funny watching them both slowly come to the same conclusion I made the moment I met him... he's just a fag.
And yeah that's a woman's world. My current necromancer build that's kicking ass in Diablo V... she'll roll her eyes. My ideas about micro weight progressive overload with weight lifting... she doesn't care. Basically, anything I do is not much more than anything that gets a response like "uh huh, so what do you think about this dress I got?"
Lots of one-sided conversations and they're on the rise.

+1 yBecause some conversations are boring. You can either gain or lose interest via text. I saw a super cute woman on a hike and left a note on her vehicle. She texted me, but then was a bad texter, even said she was a bad texter, didn't want to meet up, and so I lost interest and moved on.
I've also connected with women on apps like Tinder and they put 0% effort into the conversation. It's almost like they have 20-50 other messages so they just put "okay" or "haha" or some other low effort response, in then wait to see which monkey dances the best on his own. If a woman can't contribute anything and advance the conversation, whether it is in person or via text, it's boring. Even asking questions and being interested is enough, but if she can't be bothered to do even the minimum, I'll go talk to someone who is engaged and interesting.

u +1 yTexting is an EXTREMELY impersonal and ineffective way of communicating. You can text someone for years and not developthe relationship that you would have after a few weeks of dating.

why?To reread later?

+1 yLots of guys don't want to chat. They want to do things with you in person.
Personally, and I'm not a guy, I find texting onerous. I can't finger fast enough. I can email like the devil and write a novel. But texting is slow.
If it ain't the phone or a date, I think it's a bit of a drag. Texting is for info. Meet me here. We're doing this today. Turn left at the light. We're at the bar.
Talking in person or on the phone is for long, lazy silences and sighs.

+1 yThere is no connection. Texting is great for exchanging information but horrible for getting to know someone and build chemistry.
If the guy have other people they actually meet, they will most likely have a stronger bond.
Also, when people get to know eachother through texting, they just make up a picture in their mind of how that person is, they may misunderstand everything and get disappointed when they finally meet.00 Reply
+1 yIt's the opposite with me. I don't see writing to people on a computer screen as reality. I think it is in my head as a fictional setting. No way would I say the things in real life as I do on a computer. This usually results in women hating me.
00 Reply19.3K opinions shared on Dating topic. Male Teens are boring. They don’t know how to communicate they don’t know how to have a good decent conversation. They don’t know how to text or talk on the phone well. What do you expect from a teenager most women the same age as a guy there age are way more advanced than the males are.

@JHNS98 It drives me absolutely insane. I've had way too many relationships and friendships with women get destroyed over texting bullshit. My rule with any kind of text-based communication now is to apply what I call the "front page news story test." Basically, before I send anything, I ask myself "how would this look blasted on the front page of a newspaper as a headline?" If I don't cringe at the thought of it being blasted on the front page of a newspaper without any kind of context, I'll send it.
I have no idea how much bullshit this test has saved me from over time, but I'm sure it's saved me from a lot. - +1 y

+1 yWhy are girls obsessed with texting and think a relationship can be had over text? I'd much rather meet up in person or, in the least, have a voice call.
10 Reply3.7K opinions shared on Dating topic. Because we hate it because it's stupid. Girls refuse to believe this for some reason and still expect guys to love texting as much as them.

Men don't like talking the way that women seem to love/need it. A woman might be happy texting endlessly but a guy won't.

+1 yBecause men want sex from women by offering the least amount of time, and attention filling the woman's emotional needs. And women want time and attention from men by giving the lease amount of sex they can. We both at odds with each other
