My friend and I recently met with a girl he was talking to (it was just casual). When we met, the first thing this girl asked me was if I was still talking to a girl that we all know (my friend told her about me talking to this particularly girl). I told her that I kinda was. Up to this point, this all the info this girl knows about me.
We kept all talking as a group and my friend told the girl “hey I see you got two friends down there, you should introduce one to my friend here” and she looked at them from a distance then she looked at me and said “nahhh I don’t think they’re his type” Her friends weren’t attractive.
How is she assuming I have a type if she barely knows anything about me? Why would she cockblock me from meeting her single friends?

That's just the way women are. If you tell a guy friend you like one of his lady friends he'll not only give you his blessing but he'll even help facilitate if he can. Women on the other hand, judgement is INGRAINED in them. They judge EVERYTHING. So if they think you're not right for eachother. Not only will she not assist you. She'll actively work AGAINST you. And in her mind she'll consider it helping you.
