From an emotional standpoint, intelligent people are going to understand you at a deeper level and be able to establish a stronger emotional connection.

From an intellectual standpoint, intelligent people are also going to be able to solve problems in the relationship, in life, and in general.

To add to that, it takes intelligence to be creative, witty, inventive, and entertaining.

From a survival standpoint… Well, smart people are going to survive longer than dumb people. 🤣

Intelligence aids in pretty much anything and everything in life.

It only makes sense for it to be valued like health and beauty.

Intelligent people are funnier.

the mind has so many places to explore. If two people are intelligent, can communicate well, and are imaginative…they’ll never get tired of each other. Finding a partner that you can relate to is of immense import. The depth of which you might never find, though you explore it daily.

I like cognitive intelligence combined with moral intelligence, if a guy is smart but does not have morals - I view him as stupid cause I believe intelligence involves being nice to others and having correct moral principle. I view all immoral people as stupid cause if they were intelligent they would know the value of being a good person.

Because when your intelligence level is high and you are able to match your partners level with yours then you can do things on a much higher level and scale than the rest of the dumbass bitches could reach!

Intelligent people are attractive because they're far more interesting than those who aren't, they make better decisions in life, generally look after their health (because they fully understand the consequences of not doing so), are more open-minded, adaptable, and generally more empathetic. There's no real mystery here.

Communication is central to relationships. The closer your intelligence is to your mate, the easier it is to communicate with them. When people are way dumber than you, it takes a lot of patience to deal with them and most of the time they aren't worth the effort. When someone is on your level of intelligence you don't have to try as hard. Things are easier... Most people want an easy hassle free life when possible.

It is? Really? Out of 46 states I've been to, I can count on 1 hand the places with mostly intelligent people I've met who routinely got treated with courtesy by the opposing gender. Other than Salt Lake City, they were either in CA, Seattle or the Northeast... and even in those places... he'd better rate AT LEAST a 5, and have some bank. Because if that weren't the case, this country wouldn't have 50 million baby mommas clogging up Walmart's and millions more baby daddies needing money on their commissary and on Section 8. And in many places... especially in middle America, these kind of people are the norm, not the exception... and I can assure you... the one word you'll NEVER use to describe them-is intelligent.😏

Bright, informed people are interesting to talk to if they are culturally literate and also have a sense of humor.
Plus intelligent people are more likely to have decent income and be good problem solvers.

Unfortunately, some intelligent people are not very informed. They can be conceited and boring.

I’m always somewhat confused when I hear people say intelligence is attractive. I don’t care for intelligence at all personally. I have found that highly intelligent people are more likely to be cocky and that’s a huge turn off for me.

Generally it's opposite. Depends on the intelligence level , top level intelligence see it as a curse.

For dating most scientists have it way hared finding a partner than regular people. Doctors , engineers, lawyers are mid to low level intelligence. Most people can't even imagine what top intelligence is, and yes I have talked with Nobel Laureates.
