Should I reach out to him?

A guy a couple weeks ago approached me for my #. I gave it to him. He’s been in contact we were supposed to meet for lunch the other day but plans fell through.

I always hear a woman should never reach out to a man and to let him.

what are your thoughts?

You can reach out but it depends on why the plans fell through? I personally wouldn't reach out and let him

In this case I would probably still approach him and see if he still wants to grab lunch soon. If the answer is negative I wouldn't initiate contact anymore.

So he said that we would handle the plans but he didn’t text me until that day at 12:45. I didn’t see it until about 2. Apparently he made reservations for 1:30. When I called him he said he thought I was standing him up so he called into work. We rescheduled for Saturday.
