Let me be blunt. First off you do NOT know this guy from a stranger & it is STUPID to have a STRANGER overnight in your house. If you wanna have sex, get a hotel.

Now

If he legitimately had a flat mate then the flat mate could go to a hotel for a night. My cousin has a flat mate & he asks nicely if the room mate can get lost for the night. As my cousins have said - I'd not know as I don't sleep around - flat mates are often understanding of this partiularly if the guy hasn't had any recent "luck".

So it is VERY unlikely he legitimately has a flat mate.

Particularly when you met online seeing as online dating apps are overwhelmingly swamped with people looking for cheap sex, causal affairs, and by extension an oppurunity to cheat on wife or boyfriend/girlfriend. Online dating is, in many ways, anonymity and makes cheating far easier than even going to a bar and hooking up with a local tramp.

I hope you know this “roommate” is either a straight up lie to have an excuse to get your address, or he has a wife or girlfriend. And no it is absolutely not safe to give your address to this man you met online. Are you insane? Absolutely not safe AT ALL.

Don't do it yet- you don't know him well enough. And if he has a roommate, I'm sure the roommate would be willing to be out of the place so he can have a guest over (don't go to his place either). It's quite possible he is cheating.
