Guys, I met a man online and he is moving to my area because of me but we never met before?

So I met a man in his thirties online and we have been talking for the past 8 months. We are close in age.

He is very sweet but he is also divorced with no kids but he had cheated on his ex-wife once he says. He also met me online while he was still living with her but divorced to save money he says. And he also has worked at a bar and roughed up more than one person while he worked there as a bouncer. He has done very impulsive things such as burning his hand with lye like in fight club. He says this happened when he was 20 and it's irrelevant. Since I was talking to more than one person at the time I didn't take him that seriously but he has taken everything seriously. He impulsively quit his job and told me it was because he had seen a video about how life is wasted working 9:00 to 5:00 and how a business is the best option.

He only told me he quit on his last day. So then he looks for jobs near me in my city and he lives states away. He found a job in my city and he is moving here soon. He really wants to marry me and start a family he says. I care about him but I feel he is moving too fast even if it is 8 months talking. There are questions that he doesn't like to bring up like the past because he feels it's irrelevant or how many relationships he has been in. He says he wants to focus on me and our future. But I think the past is an indicator of the future. Not sure what to think.

I'd like to stay talking to him because I do care about him but I feel he is going too fast. He says I've been slow. I like that he wants to marry and have a family. He says his ex wife didn't. I've never been married though and I'd have preferred a man who wasn't. He is close to his family. He started talking to them again around the time he met me after losing touch for some years. He is movie star attractive. He says the same of me. But his impulsiveness bothers me. What would be the best thing to do in this situation?
