While he will be looking out for potential partners, he's living in the real world, and he'll hang out with friends, go out to movies and restaurants and whatever, and he'll socialize in the real world. A simp is someone who literally tries to buy some online girl's attention, even though she will never consider him to be more than an ATM machine.

A simp is passive with woman and will stive to please here no matter what the price. He will put his emotionally needs and wants, aside to achieve pleasing her as its own reward.

A man on the other hand, will treat a woman with respect only if she respects him and treats him with equal respect. So, he will not do anything no matter the price. He will do what is required as long as she does the same for him.

This might be the best, most accurate description of the term I've seen yet, and for those of you who are curious about the phenomenon, if you read what Mr. Jord says, I think you'll find that there really isn't anything bad about it. Obviously, some humility is required, but in my experience, being a simp is a truly rewarding experience.

@Billlewis I do not think there is anything wrong with a man that wants to please a woman and make her happy. I think most men are willing to do this for their chosen woman. Be there is healthy level of doing things, and then there is an extreme level.

I tend to believe that anything in moderation is okay, but once you start taking it to extremes then there is a turning point, where you are doing far more then is required or should be required.

The real problem is when woman are with a simp, the mistreat him, and then think other men are going to even come close to doing what the simp was for her.

That's an excellent point, sir, but if we know, unequivocally, that she's not going to let us have sex with her, the next best thing to do is basically just kiss her ass. @Billlewis What you fail to realize, or she fails to realize, you are only simping because it makes you happy and not so much about making her happy, as it is about you achieving your goals. So yes, if making her happy brings you pleasure then I enjoy you do please that woman.

But at some point, maybe years later, days or months... there will come time were doing all the things you are doing will not bring you as much pleasure, and then you will ask yourself if it is even worth it anymore.

Women expect men on some level to do things for them... even the ones that say they don't need a man but are still dating men. It about wanting a man, not needing a man. Like it about wanting woman, and not needing woman.

If you as a simp need a woman to feel validated on some level that is fine. Most men really want a woman but will not need one that requires so much attention just for shake of attention.

So yes, being simp may increase your chances for sex, and it may seem more rewarding in that way... but over time it can become very emotionally draining and unstainable... but by that time you got all that you wanted and needed from her, but her respect and admiration.

Most men want that respect and admiration, that is the reward. Sex is the cherry on top.

I don't deny any of that, but isn't that what all relationships are about? An older guy needs some companionship, so he has to work a little harder than someone who's twenty years younger. What you're describing is no different than what every other relationship consists of.

@Billlewis Again as long as it is all done within healthy limitation and there is some soundary setting taking place. I for one will definitely try harder and to more for a sexy woman that is amazing in bed. This very true. But I set boundaries on myself in a healthy way, so I know what my limits are, what I am willing to do and what I am willing not to do.

So for a normal man, I think what you are saying is true and proper... but a simp, a true and real simp. Well, they struggle with setting boundaries, and eventually they can become lost within a relationship. because honestly the only pillar you are setting in place is that you will please at any price, as long as she gives you sex.

At some point it can become a very unhealthy situation.
