Would you date someone who gets cold sores?

More specifically would you date someone who has herpes simplex virus 1? The virus that causes cold sores around the lips that fill with fluid and burst. It's been said that 2/rds of human beings have this virus already and pretty much every secually active person has the virus.

So, yes I would date them, and yes I have dated them. Most people in general, like over 90% of all humans have been subjected to the virus in one way or another. So do not think just because you don't get the cold scores that you have not already been exposed.

I was married to my ex-wife for 24 years... she got cold sores once or twice a year for no reason, and not one time. Not once did I ever get one or have one. So, I am just in the other 1/3 of people who probably has it and never gets the scores.
