I'm at a crossroads... I need to focus on a goal yet I also want to date but I'm afraid that dating will take my focus away from my goal. I know you can't have your cake and eat it all at the same time. So how do you balance this ordeal?
I am working long hours and I have to be on top of my game because I need to save $19,000.00 before the end of the year. It is possible but I need to focus so I am really wondering if these two things are possible.

That's pretty simple my goals are important to me. But loved ones ALWAYS take precedence over those goals. But if someone loves you they also support the pursuit of your goals. So when it works well it's kind of symbiotic. I'm ALWAYS going to put my loved one FIRST. But if she is always exploiting that fact after a while I might conclude she doesn't really love and support me and my goals. Understand?
You sound like me at your age. My advice is don't sacrifice the wrongs things. Date. Enjoy your life. Work on your goals but live too. This takes a great deal of discipline but I believe, in hindsight, this is the better option.
