How do I approach a guy I like?

So a while I met a boy at a local Easter egg hunt. Me and my brother arrived late and he came over to us and gave me some his brothers. I notice he look my age and ask him if he went to the local high school and he said he did. Fast ford to now and I have not talk to him since even though I saw him walking by me couple times last year. And this school year I see him in the hallway at least three times a day. I found found out he was a senior (I'm a junior). So we have no classes together and nothing in common. And every single time I see him I look away even though I have genuine interest talking to him and getting to know him. But I have don't really have the confidence to go up to him because I have no idea even have to start the conversation. Please give advice.

So the only things I now about him is his name ( he did not tell me this I found out from the yearbook). And that he is really smart and is into skateboarding, snowboarding , and skiing (all this I found out by asking around ).

Here's what I would do, sis:

Next time you see him in the hall, give him a big smile and a wave. Like really light up when you make eye contact so he knows you remember him. guys definitely notice that.

Then try walking right up to him and be like "hey, we met at that egg hunt last spring right? small world we go to the same school!" Keep it real casual.

Ask him something easy like what classes he's taking this semester or what he likes to do for fun. Get a conversation flowing about normal stuff so it's not awkward.

If he seems nice, you could even mention seeing each other in the halls a few times and say you'd love to properly introduce yourself since you never got his name.

Then maybe suggest exchanging Snapchat names or Instagram so you guys can chat more since you don't share a class. Something low pressure but still shows your interest.

Just be confident, smile lots, and don't stress! You got this queen. If he's single I'm sure he'll be flattered a cute girl came up to him. You miss every shot you don't take, so go for it!

When your paths cross, slow down, smile, stop, and say "Hi." Do that up to three times and if you are pretty enough for him to be interested, he will take it from there. If you are not willing to that, he is out of your league and you know it. You are just hoping for magic but there is no magic.
