And I’m trying to not be pessimistic, I know my luck lol. 28F, I find him good looking (based off profile pics) & so far we’ve had good conversations after talking almost 2 weeks. I’m not showing him my pessimism & not putting pressure, I just worry that when we meet tomorrow it’ll be awkward. If not tomorrow, it’ll fizzle out within the first 2-4 meetups. I use the dating apps on and off, I’ve gotten a lot better with taking it as it comes but it’s just kind of at the back of my mind. Anyone else relate?

In life I always say if you never try you will never know & as for your first upcoming date I wish you the best & hope you enjoy it as well. As always stay safe, stay alert & stay in contact with a close friend or family member & make sure they know where you are at all times. Drive your own car, meet in a public place & remember the person you see online might not be the person you meet in person.

As for your online date do my two spoon verification system. Have him hold up two spoons in his profile picture or have him send you a picture of himself holding up two spoons whee you can see the two spoons & his face. If he can’t do it or gives you a runaround about doing it don’t go on a date with him he’s probably a catfish or some joker that stole someone else’s photo.

Maybe let him know whether you want another date instead of making him guess and playing that game?

Like "I had a great time, I would love to go out again next weekend (soon/two weeks/etc)." Or "I'm sorry, but I don't feel that you are right for me. Thanks for the evening. "

Online people over complicate things by playing a game instead of just saying what they want.

I never really liked it because people were always introverts who only had one word answers for everything. I just met people being friendly out in public and with mutual friends.
