So we scheduled a call today for 1 PM, before the call he said he needed to confirm if he’d be available at that time & he did. I thought we were going to do it through the app but he instead msged his # this morning. So when it was time to call, I tried through the app first & it didn’t work, that’s when I called his # & blocked my number. He asked if we could video call, I tried again on the app & it didn’t work that’s when we just continued the call through the phone with my # blocked. After a little less than 30 min, he said he had to go build his bed (just moved) & I had to go too so I didn’t fuss. Before ending call, he scheduled dinner later this week & last message I got from him was about 10 min after our call, when he asked if I had discord. Did something go down or is everything ok atm & I’m overworrying? I’m going to share my discord UN in a min

I think you're probably overthinking it a bit. A quick 30 minute intro call is normal when first meeting someone from an app. A few thoughts:
- Video calls can be awkward for the first contact, so sticking to voice was fine.
- Scheduling a dinner date afterwards is a good sign - he's still interested in meeting up in person.
- Asking for your Discord after is just a casual way to continue chatting before the date. Discord is a common app people use.
- His excuse about having to build furniture seems believable enough. First calls are usually just a short check-in.
I wouldn't read too much into the call ending a little abruptly. First impressions over the phone can be low-key anyway since you're still getting a feel for each other. Seems like you've got a dinner booked, so focus on that. Try to relax and don't overanalyze - if the date goes well, that's what matters most. You're probably alright, just play it cool till you meet up!
He blocked your number? How did you end up talking to each other? I'm not sure what the call does when a number is blocked vs just dismissing the call
