I've been dating a guy for a few months, we are exclusive. He recently went on holiday for a week with his grown-up sons. He was in touch by text once a day while he was away. I responded to his messages but I didn't initiate contact myself as I wanted to give him space to enjoy himself.
His last message (and my reply) was Sunday night. He got back from holiday late Tuesday night and I haven't heard from him. It's now Thursday. We don't live in the same town, and normally when he has been in my town to visit me he goes silent for a day or two when he gets back home while he gets back into his routine. So this isn't completely out of character, but still...
I'm trying not to be the one to get in touch, as I have always made too much effort with guys, given too much, and I didn't want to do that again this time. Also, I kinda figured that it's the one who gets back from holiday who gets in touch when they've settled back in? Or should I call him?
I really need a guy's perspective on this! Thank you all :-)
