In other words, she wants a bold, confident and attractive guy to rock her world, and keep a nice, sweet guy who worships the ground she walks on but has as much chance of experiencing intercourse with her as he does of winning the lottery. The 'Alphabet Mafia' (ABC, CBS, NBC, etc) hold an almost incomprehensible amount of influence over the nation, and they're currently attempting to impose their will on the rest of us, because, as everyone knows, they know what's best for us.

No. Still a current thing. Many women will choose the bad boy that treats them like crap or that is completely aggressive and domineering rather than some poindexter that would actually be good for them. Women, especially young women want the bad boy that gives them excitement and drama or the mature older guy who makes good money and is still in shape that can provide the lifestyle and stability she wants.

I went through my badboy phase as a young teenager, which passed quickly. Because you soon find out that they don't actually exist. They're either fake and insecure, hiding it behind bravado that falls as soon as you get close, or he's toxic. Either way, they're definitely becoming less popular.

That said, I'm grateful for my badboy phase because it really taught me the value of kindness. And I was lucky enough not to actually get involved with him anyway. So I've learned to view attractions from a kind of, outside gaze where I can see when something is right or wrong for me.

Every month at work there's an oldies night and all the cholas and cholos show up. Most of the people at this event are between 35-55. The cholas won't even look at the other guys if they don't "look gangster" aka like they never grew up, still dress like they're in high school, and want to go back to prison for doing stupid shit. In the hood, the "bad boy" is still very much alive.
