Is "sagging" coming back in style for boys?

In the early days of the 21st century, every boy between 13 and 28 would wear their pants low on the butt. They called it "sagging" cuz the pants were indeed sagging.

I've seen this a lot lately. I picked up a friend's kid from school one day and every boy walking past my car as i waited had his pants down more or less.

Is this fashion coming back in style?

Don't pay attention, I just see abuncha Edgar cuts & dreads and dudes wearing belts and skinny jeans these days.

But yeah when I was younger 2007 to 2011 I sagged but I had the long tees 4xl the 4 for 20$ at champs, finish line and foot locker and this one hood store we had called "Boss Wear" lol that store was crackin, you had to watch out whenever u went in there cause you never knew if a enemigo was there. That was the days hahahaha.

best deals ever for school clothes when you was broke 20$ went a long ways lol cause you could swap the shirts over the other in combination. Me and my homie I was always at his house cause my mom's always kicked me out, use to always give eachother the 4th shirt when we bought them.

But you never saw my ass, the only time the pants come up was when we caught fades lol my pants are always on my waist now.

Unfortunately I think it’s still around. I see some pants that are so low, I don’t know how they walk without tripping over themselves.

Whatever. People should be free to do whatever they want as long as they’re not hurting anyone or taking something away from them. But i always thought that trend was ridiculous. Especially when you consider the origins of “sagging”, perpetuating that as a “style” is flat out ignorant. Again… to each their own.

I do not even understand how that became a thing in the first place, because it is violating some dress codes.
On the other hand, so did jeans way way back when, yet people wearing jeans got into some very fancy and strict dresscode night clubs/pubs.
After that, farmers pants became mainstream for sure and now we also apparently have suits fully made of jeans fabric, like it started back then too.
What style will you start liking if this become mainstream again?

I run a retail store, we don't permit sagging of pants regardless of skin color.

It sure was, but then it got bluewashed and normalised when almost everyone breakdanced/streetdanced.
Not the first time I've heard that.
From more than one source of information independent and unknown of the other.
Which means it most likely must lay at least a grain of truth behind that.
If it isn't one of many rumors that spread incredibly fast and never got fact checked because it seemed to be good enough to be factual.
