Why is it Bad that I Only Want to Date a Woman Who's Just Like Me?

I am asking this question because I am struggling to understand why it's a bad thing to only date a woman who's just like me. Holding everything else equal, I'd rather be a bachelor than dating a woman who's not similar to me.

i dont see it as bad, who says its bad. I would be vary tho limiting your options too much and being too judgy, sometimes people aren't as they appear to be and in my opinion even tho certain rational criteria is relevant, one should search for real connection with someone who is also sexually/physically attractive to them

okay, well thats okay if you wanna do that, thats your life. in my opinion just rationality isn't best when trying to find a partner. you may think i would like this and that in a person but then you just dont feel comfortable with that person or it doesn't click with you. feeling good with someone, comfortable, accepted, natural... etc. is what its all about plus being attracted. Point is, feelings matter, especially in love.

noone is arguing that, for me "real connection" is having something in common. in my experience it has proven that the best attraction is when you have different personalities but same values

I don't know what you want here then if you are so sure of your opinion, than good for you, but I do have to say it to you that emotion is not an enemy, its an input, as any other, I don't know why men consider emotions bad, we all do things to make us feel good and it what helps us know right and wrong, robots can't do it and ignoring emotions makes you a sociopath
