Why have I been never asked out by guys?

I am 21F. I have never been asked out by any guy and I am too scared to ask out the guys I like.

I am friendly enough and I am never rude to anyone but I am a bit reserved while having first interactions. Is it me who is the problem? I think I am pretty approachable.

I am average looking, 5' 8" tall a bit curvaceous. Generally dress up in Tshirt and Jeans. Perform above average in academics.

"I'm a bit reserved" can mean a lot of things to different people. If you're coming off as cold or disinterested, there's your problem. How do you mean it, specifically?

Idts it's cold and disinterested, it's just I won't tell people much about myself apart from the basics in the very first conversation.
And no I am not obese and not wasting my time.

How well do you do with guys? What would your male coworkers/friends say about you?

I'm asking this to get at this point... are you good with guys on a superficial level and just can't "get the conversion" to occur, or is this an all around issue you're having?

I have a few guy friends. We do have conversations on various topics, some stupid, some intellectual, some opinion based. I think I interact well with strangers as well; like a friend of a friend kind of people.

I'd ask them, your guy friends, first and foremost, because they know you AND can see how you interact with them and others. Now everybody has their own opinions, so nothing is absolute, but if five guys tell you 4 different things and 1 similar thing amongst all of them, chances are pretty good that's a legitimate point.

How many guys do you interact with a day? If you don't interact with guys you probably won't get asked out randomly unless you look really good, or are wearing something more revealing than t shirt and jeans.

I don't know how this would be possible because I have been hit on by old guys all the time since I was 12, and my friends were too. It was shocking when it first happened, I never knew they did this.

OK... Perhaps you should take a very long look in the mirror and start asking yourself what needs changing.

Try becoming more confident and assertive.

Consider a change of hair style, makeup and outfits etc.
