Why do I never get asked out?

i have never had anyone be romantically interested in me as I know of even though everyone around me is in a relationship and has had multiple relationships in the past…

i know im not ugly because whenever i post on social media i get called pretty and people in the hallways at school compliment me all the time on my outfit and my makeup. im also average weight so i know thats not an issue.

i go to a tech highschool and my shop is applied engineering. the shop is mostly composed of boys and i share a lot of interests with the boys there but still nobody seems to be interested in me

i feel like im doing something wrong but im stumped because it seems like literally nobody wants me

It's entirely possible they think you're already with someone or they don't have the confidence to approach you. You can ask them out, too. It works both ways.
