Depends on how their discussion went. If he very much wanted the child and his feelings weren't even considerated and/or she used the "my body my choice" argument I'd leave too.

A girl who shows that it's always gonna be what she wants when it comes to every major decision without consideration to what her partner wants is not someone a guy should waste their life on.

Well, because men work dirty, hard and life-shortening jobs at low pay. Many of us do so without any hope for the future and no way out. Some needs a reason for their efforts bigger than themselves or we would feel like life doesn't matter, that life is empty and our efforts are in vain.

Women these days think of nothing being more important than themselves so it makes sense why they wouldn't care about a child or the father for that matter.

On the contrary. Someone, like how I used to be, with very positive thoughts on women will find themselves locked in a relationship with women taking the relationship for granted. It's always the kind men that becomes robbed and left worse for the experience. I'd hesitate to call such a relationship "healthy". I'm rather without then.

Well just like woman can suck the life out of a good man, men can suck the life out of a good woman. I have been with total dirtbags, who unfortunately are attracted to my compassion. It really goes both ways. It’s hard to find a good man just as it’s hard to find a good woman. But they are out there. I never want my past to cause me to become jaded about men, because it’s ultimately my fault for choosing bad guys.

Why leave her if you get it? Shouldn’t you be there for each other and for her while she goes through such a painful process? To abandon a girl during this is so incredibly cruel. Yet so many feel the way you do. I cannot wrap my head around it.

Because if we’re sleeping together w no protection we both know there’s a chance of this happening. Besides if I was smart about it I would have chosen wisely a partner who didn’t want an abortion. So that would be my fault too. But if she got an abortion w out us even discussing it, I’d leave. I’d even consider taking the baby myself w help from family.
