Am I too schizophrenic type personality have a boyfriend?

Like I’m just kinda all over the place but in real life I act really quiet and try to act calm and like I have no thoughts st all but really I have weird and funny thoughts a lot.

I’m a diagnosed mild paranoid schizophrenic. Mild and sometimes even moderate cases can find lifelong partners, hold jobs, sustain friendships and raise families. I’m doing all of that and everyone knows. Except I don’t have kids yet. For a severe case, it might be too much.

Yeah, that’s what I do, as my symptoms are low energy; and visions and voices. They are usually gone from my meds, but they return with a vengeance if I’m stressed out. Which makes me tired and unable to concentrate on my work, or leaves me at risk of having an episode…

I advise you to go and do normal stuff, but not to push yourself with stressful stuff. Know your limits and rest when you need glasses.

Thanks yep definitely have to stop pushing and not let myself do stressful things❤️ it’s tough cause the world wants everyone to push themselves but it’s not good for some of us we go crazy!

Yeah often you find you live in public housing or if you’re lucky, your parents. The healthiest way to look at it is that it could’ve been a lot worse. You could be unable to work, completely sick minded and even dangerous, or put away. If you’re able to live a mostly normal life and most of your thoughts and feelings are normal and sensible? you’re doing better than most paranoid schizophrenics.

Yes you’re right. We literally go crazy. I advise you if you’re having lots of weird thoughts to go and see a psychologist or psychiatrist. From there, you can get assessed accurately and have access to meds should you need them.

True we got lucky we aren’t as debilitated by it. Around here public housing has a long waiting list I think but maybe a psychologist can help me get in or help with other stuff mentally :s. I just don’t like them lol

Yeah they can do both. Get a mental health care plan. You’ll get it cheaper, if available where you live. It’s not fun or even something you must do, but it’s wise, see it as a responsibility to yourself and to others to make sure you’re well. By seeing one.
