My mate said I’ve got some personality disorder?

I was out with a load of friends Saturday night, I was letting my hair down and having fun. Normally we’re just out walking together but this was out for a few drinks.

they were sat down and I was like up and dancing 🕺.

come to sit down and said I’ve got some personality disorder or something. He did say a name of it but I’ve never heard of it before lol

what’s your thoughts? Just a boring old guy or I do have a problem with my confidence?

If his opinion really has you questioning your mental state then you need a professional diagnosis, which we here are not equipped to give. I have a feeling it isn’t that deep for you though, so why even give it excess thought? I’m sure you have at least one unfavorable opinion about each friend but you keep that to yourself.

It’s just a weird thing to say to someone, wasn’t expecting it tbh lol I put it down to jealousy is why they said such thing

Yeah, borderline personality disorder (BPD) is where you can only feel emotions in the extremes. This means extreme sadness, extreme anger, and extreme happiness. It can be very dangerous to be unmedicated if you experience a lot of “drama” in your life as it can lead to suicidal ideations and depression quite easily.

Well, if you struggle with anything like that, or your first reaction to conflict is to escalate it, it might be worth looking into. I’ve known one guy who went into literal murderous rages when he was unmedicated. Got arrested more than once

You mean get angry by that comment? The only thing is. These bunch of friends haven’t seen me let my hair down and have fun on a night out. They’re a bit too serious I guess.
