Would you be upset if the guy you were dating didn’t wish you a Happy Birthday even if they did something for you, before your birthday?

If someone you were dating did something for you a few days prier to your birthday, but didn’t actually said “Happy Birthday” on your birthday, would you be upset? Would that be a deal breaker for you or would that make you unreasonable and immature?

It depends on what he did earlier but generally it’s deal breaker. If he doesn’t even say happy birthday when you’re dating then what makes you think he’s going to do so after years together. If you don’t care that’s fine but if you do then you’re setting yourself up for a lifetime of dosappointment by being with him. He’s not gonna celebrate your birthday, get you Christmas gifts, acknowledge anniverseries or anything like that.
