If a guy likes you back would he wish you a happy birthday if it’s your birthday?

There’s this guy I like and I think he likes me back. I wished him a happy birthday when it was his birthday and he said thank you with hearts. It was my birthday and he didn’t wish me a happy birthday does that mean He doesn’t like me then if he didn’t wish me a happy birthday? I know sort of a dumb question.

Did he know it was your birthday tho? Usually people also say thanks with hearts, nothing flirty or showing particular interest. Maybe he forgot it was your bday. I never wish Hbd to people myself cuz, its all the same.
