Would you wish a girl happy birthday after you rejected her?

Say a girl you met showed interest in you in a message on Facebook but you weren't interested back and blatantly ignored her message.

A few months down the line its her birthday and her friends wish her a happy birthday on Facebook. Would you say happy birthday to her with kisses if you still were not interested in her and after having ignored her completely for all that time?

This just happened to me and I'm confused as to why the guy would bother.

thats odd I can relate because the guy I liked for years he never wished me happy birthday on fb, it was disheartening because he would flirt with me in person and seemed to like me so much plus id always wish him on fb he never seemed to care about me in a gneuine way

all I can say is that may be he feels guilty now? or he's just trying to be polite and friendly? may be he didn't know what to reply back to the message because sometimes guys don't wanna hurt a girls feelings so they just avoid confrontation and don't reply at all, but he probably feels bad now for having no manners and is just saying happy birthday to be on friendly terms with u

i don't know its just my interpretation. I think if a guy truly likes a girl he would talk to her, reply back and keep the conversation going. anything otherwise just shows he's not that serious about you. I know from my own experiences.
