Guys, Would you still wish someone a happy birthday that you don't talk to anymore?

It's my crushes birthday today I would love to send him a happy birthday but we haven't spoke in months. Would it come across weird to do so? This time last year I was attending he's birthday party. I miss him very much and have been thinking of this day for a few weeks. I can't tell him how I feel about him for numerous reasons. We have always been good friends, I would love to greet him with a birthday message. Not sure what to do 😩 thank you for taking the time to read and answer my question if you do so.

It depends on what you are trying to achieve and how you ended up not talking.

All in all, a birthday wish is putting the best foot forward. It may or may not achieve anything, but it maybe the beginning of opening the doors for you with him.

If anything it comes across as being a decent human being. However, be prepared that it may nit result in what you wish for.
