There was a guy I liked for a long time. Things were looking really well. We kissed, we went out but then I ended things. He has been really hurt and maybe is for way too long. First three months after that happened we didn't talk at all. It happened 7 months ago and I am seeing someone new. He is still single and looks like he wants to stay out of dating. But I really like this guy. He is nice, cool and funny and it is kinda pitty that things didn't work out and I wish him only best. I hope he will find a girl he deserves, better than me for him. What it is like when you hurt someone’s emotions and they are finally happy with someone and you care for them as s friend and really wish them the best?

"I hope he will find a girl he deserves, better than me for him." When guys hear this from a woman who is rejecting them, it gives most of us violent urges. You are saying that for your own benefit, not his, so just stop it!
You rejected him, so the only decent thing you can do is to stay out of his life and try to become invisible to him. If you are still feelng gulty, that's your problem, so don't do anything to make it his problem.
And stop acting like you care now. It doesn't matter whether you care now.
