Why are some guys embarrassed to want to date a woman who is autistic?

Once they find out a woman is high functioning autistic they are embarrassed to be date her. Why is it when they find out I am different they are embarrassed to date me or even have sex with me and think something is off with me if I don't tell them I am autistic? Does this mean I have to settle with an autistic guy that I am seeing? Why do most non autistic guys feel this way when they find out a girl is autistic? This happened to me 80 percent of this time in my experience in dating.

I feel like I would be taking advantage of you. That’s why I wouldn’t want to do it. I also like smart women. I want to be able to talk about problems I might have, and have them have their opinions about the situation that might be helpful. Yeah, even autistic people can love you back, but I want a best friend. Someone I can go to when my day is going horrible. I’ve also taken care of kids, and that’s how I treat some people who aren’t up to my level of thinking. I want an equal relationship.

I have no doubt it happens all the times , because its a reflection of themselves , same as someone with torrretes ( although thats far worse ) ..

Think of it like this , before we diagnosed all this stuff , autistic people didn't know they were on the spectrum , they just went about life as best they could , so its simple " dont tell them " , if it doesn't work dont be concerned , just take your time , you can tell them later.

I have ptsd, a disease and stubbornly independent; my odds are low. However I don’t want odds, I don’t try, guys are gross and useless and greedy. They hate us anyway, that’s why trans have come around. For guys! Lol
