I usually don't make the first move but I did with my current boyfriend. Wbu?

The story if you're interested:

It was winter time and we were hanging out outside after school (just the two of us as friends) and he was freezing so I asked "Do you want me to warm you up?" (Which is a bold move for me ngl) he said "yes please" and then I just started cuddling with him. After that it didn't take him long to ask me to be his girlfriend. Yeah I know my rizz is out of this world lol.

That is an adorable story. I love this. I usually make the first move but have had a few girls in my day initiate. One that I didn't know at all. One story is kind of funny.

She used to shop in the retail store I worked at as a kid. I was 19 and I think she was 16 if I remember correctly. She came in with 3 girl friends of hers and was so nervous and came up to me and asked if I had a girlfriend and would I go out with her.

I remember thinking I didn't want to date a 16 yr old for one, and two, I also didn't want to reject her in front of her friends. So I still don't know if I did the right thing 25 years later lol. I said since I'm at work I can't talk much how about you give me your number and we can talk more about this later. I didn't want to say yes or no. She took this as a yes I suppose. She gets the giggles and so do her friends and they leave. I told her give me a few days to call.

So I call. She answers and I said something like so I wanted to call you back and tell you that I was so flattered that you came up to me and ask me out. I know you were with your friends and I was at work so I didn't want to answer with your friends there. This way you can say whatever you want to them after we disconnect. I'm not sure if you know I'm 19 turning 20 and you're a little young for me and I'm not looking to date anyone at this time. I'm in school full time, work full time, and when I get into a relationship I want to have time for that too. I hope you're not mad but I did want to call you back because of how nice you were.

I called from my store phone so she didn't have my number thankfully. Funny thing is that a girl I worked with heard me call, gave me the biggest hug, and said you did the right thing. My coworker looked at me and said you are a real good man and are going to make a great boyfriend/husband one day. It made me blush and she said to me when you're done with school call me lol.

We actually dated for a while. She was a little older than me and she wasn't first girlfriend (serious one)

No, I never make the first move however I do not hide my feelings so it's kinda like you would have to be really an oblivious person to not realise you are one of my crushes.
I won't explicit say so unless if asked, but then I am also here like "Anyone would be lucky to have you" etc.
Everyone one of my ex's made the move after me always making remarks about them and making it obvious. So I guess one could class it as making the first move but it's more just leaving any opportunity for them to do so.

I also am honest about how I crush very easily so pretty much all my female friends know I like them already. It's their choice if they want to do anything with that.

When I was young it was always the girl who made the first move ( I was useless ) this happened from about 16 to 25 , when I was pretty much used to it , then I made a decision , it would be far better if I did it... and I've followed that to this point of life , but early days it was always the girl , and thankfully there were quite a number of them.

Being alone it's way easier. In a group there's always some dumb bitch who influences her to not like the guy. I'd say wait till you're alone and then switch from being a friend to what you want to be. Because otherwise there's too much social pressure on the girl

I don't mind talking or asking out. But anything further than that. I would find it easier if she would take the lead a bit.
