Why do some people think girls prefer intelligent guys?

I think it's not entirely true, because smart and nerdy people like that are never successful with women. I don't think intelligence matters in relationships.

Actually I believe this might be the most common with independent women because they want someone smarter than them.

No they prefer loud and obnoxious guys because they act like idiots and women like ex-boyfriends they can use as a scapegoats. Just look at how many women blame their ex-boyfriend for all their problems.

You would think their ex-boyfriends wake up every morning and plan out how can they make her life worse by the way they speak about their ex-boyfriend. Again it's to have a scapegoat and to take attention away from how immature and childish they are for picking such a loser.

Intelligence does matter in relationships. It does not matter much in casual hookups, where the girls are happy if the guy can find the right hole. :-P
