You should never settle but I think you should also have an honest conversation with yourself and ask yourself why have you been single? Maybe you're attracted to low quality men, or maybe low quality men are attracted to you. There's definitely good men out there that care about you, it's just life makes it incredibly difficult to find that person sometimes.

I get in the same headspace when it comes to women. I know good women exist, but I'm attracted to toxic women, which in turn skews my view of women, because all I know is unhealthy relationships.

You deserve good and you will find good, don't give up hope.
