I think that's true of your generation. I think your generation spent a majority of it's time online because they don't really remember a world when the internet didn't exist. Ergo everything in their life is geared towards their online persona. As a result this attitude spills over into their real world experience. Most people your age don't want anything real and lasting. Because real and lasting takes work and commitment. And your generation is so accustomed to blowing it up and starting over when you get bored. You can't have a healthy relationship when everything revolves around just you, and your happiness.

In their youth, maybe. As they mature, most men become more relationship oriented. You'll find players at all ages;but as men age it becomes rarer.

Look , I'm not American , but purely from reading here , I'd say thats certainly NOT true , there are some quite ludicrous superficial elements in USA ( they love to give ratings 1- 10 WTF? ) and financials are a big thing , so so very different from what I'm used to , but for the most part I think most seem to like to be in relationships.

Chatting here is a good cross section , as it represents exactly what I found when I was travelling there , and all the Americans I meet here in Thailand , one of my best mates here is from USA , and we recently have had a few others , all really good people , all in relationships ( although past the age group you mention ) , got me incredibly drunk one night as I never do shots any more regretted that.

Either was , USA is of course massive , basically 50 odd countries joined , and like every massive cross section of free individuals , there are many differing personalities as one would expect , the overall attitude can be rather insular and loud , compared to other parts of the world.

it may be generally different in this culture because people in general start dating and instead of having family influneces, arranged relationships... they wander on their own. Its not exclusive to males.

Most people I know are married or have been married. But there are also a lot of singles, both male and female around.
