Oh hell no. That is not okay at all. No one should ever lay their hands on you. A relationship should make you feel safe and cared for, not scared.

If it were me, I wouldn't stay with someone who hit me. You don't deserve that. Is there someone you trust like a friend, parent or teacher you could tell? They could help get you away from this guy in a safe way. You also might consider calling a domestic violence hotline - they're there to help people in abusive situations.

I know ending it can be really scary and hard, but believe me you'll feel so much better once you're out. You deserve so much better than someone who hurts you. Please take care of yourself and don't be alone with this guy - reach out for support from people who care about you. You've got this!
