If your boyfriend cheated on u & hurt u so bad, is it normal to not want to end the relationship cuz u don’t want him to be happy?

So he’s cheating on me, was on dating apps, flirted with his ex, texted different girls, etc & it hurts me so bad that I’m traumatized & have trust issue. Deep down I know that it’s better to break up with him & move on but the problem is I can’t just forgive him & give him what he wants aka freedom that easily. I don’t want him to be happy after I leave. So I prefer to stay in the relationship, being possessive & give him headaches in return of what he did to me.
Is this ok & normal? What do u think?

I don’t see how that benefits you at all. You’re preventing your own self from finding happiness with a good man and instead staying shackled to someone who has brought you trauma and pain. If he left you today to go be with another woman you would feel foolish for not doing it first and giving him another opportunity to break your heart again. There’s so much more to life you are depriving yourself of by staying in this relationship. It’s shameful and you should just let him go.

It is better for you to dump him because wouldn't you rather he realize he lost someone really great and will never find that again. Then to be that pain in the ass he will be happy he got rid of?
You will then be open to find someone who can make you happy and really loves you then to be stuck with a guy who doesn't and might give you an STI..
