I’d respectfully say that skirts and pants have nothing to do with this nor will prevent it.

The problem is firstly one of fornication. If we don’t fornicate, we are very unlikely to impregnate someone we don’t really want to.

However since many people don’t care about God’s command regarding fornication, we can solve the problem by not having unprotected sex. The male must take full responsibility for this, as he will suffer the most if does not. The old “I’m on the pill” act when she really isn’t (some women do this) is how unintended children are born. Therefore the male must insure he always uses a condom, or has a vasectomy or uses a reliable method of birth control.

So summed up, the problem is mainly one of poor self discipline.

Each of us - male and female - has to take personal responsibility. Sometimes, we cannot, like the people who died on 9/11 because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. However, usually, we can.

So, if a woman is afraid that she might become pregnant and she doesn't want to or is not sure that the man is going to marry her, then she either needs to take birth control or not have sex.

She should not trust what the man says unless they are both in love and she realizes he loves her. And, a man in love - in real love - will marry his woman without question.

For example, I have a conversation in 1992 soon after my new ex-girlfriend whom I wanted to marry.
She said "I used to ask my boyfriends 'What would you do if I got pregnant?'"
I was puzzled because she was a virgin and remained so for the 17 months we were together. (*)
I asked her, "Cyn, how come you never asked me that question?"
She said, "Because I already (or always) knew the answer."

I am not sure if that's because she knew I was fine with leaving her a virgin until we were married, but I'd like to think that she knew I was still completely in love with her and that I'd be good with kids. (She knew that because it was through kids that we became a couple. Long story.)
