Some are too old and some too young and some will never be grown XD - yes it is not nice if you are in a seniors home and your kid is 18. Good point!

I don't know about any other men but myself. But it seems to me that when you have kids you have to dedicate your life to them. You have to spend time on their activities, take them on outings and adventures, show them the world, entertain them, teach them and worry about them. You have to pay for their food, clothes, toys, medical, schooling, sports, entertainment, eventually a car and maybe a wedding.
Your entire life revolves around them. And they don't really appreciate it. They think it is your job. They take it for granted.
They will cause heart ache. Hopefully they will eventually grow up and appreciate all you did for them and all the sacrifices you made.

When you get old, they may think they know what's best for you and boss you around or put you in a home. They will expect an inheritance.

Also, I feel sorry for the generations of kids who were born after me. The country and the world has become less and less hospitable, especially after 2002.

That never sounded appealing to me. I don't even think kids are cute. They are loud and annoying.
I wanted my own life. I wanted to have fun.

I liked having girlfriends and thought I would get married one day if I found the right woman.

I got married late in life when I was 42. My wife is 2.5 years younger. We had both lived full and very fulfilling lives before we met. We had been in relationships but had never been married or had kids.

My wife would have liked to have kids once she got married. She would have made a really good mommy. I'm not sure I would have been a great dad.

Once we got married, she had two miscarriages and decided that having a baby just wasn't meant to be. I was relieved but felt really bad for her at the same time. The miscarriages were heartbreaking for both of us.

We've talked about it over the years and she decided that she's glad we didn't have kids. I'm glad we didn't.

We are best friends and equal partners. We have had a LOT of fun together and built a wonderful life together. We care about each other, look out for each other, and want each other to be happy and fulfilled. That's what I wanted when I settled down. I really like having a best friend and partner to grow old with.

Some diseases are hereditary. There are men who are aware of this and, out of a sense of responsibility, do not want to have children. The child carries the genes of both the woman and the man, and it is a matter of chance whether hereditary diseases manifest themselves. A friend of mine suffers from depression and has therefore decided not to have children so as not to pass on this tendency. It runs in the family. I think that's very good. Of course, no one knows how strong the tendency would be in a child, but to say that you can't get your own life under control and therefore don't want to have children is very mature!

Because most men get married for the wrong reason and any chance that it doesn't work out the like 50/ 50. They dont have that responsibility. Weather its raising them of supporting them. And that's so sad. Because children change your life for the best with more people

I think it’s just the fear of the pressure and responsibility of caring for a child and worried about failing. Also having a kid is very expensive and exhausting and he might not be ready for that. Also there also might be the women he had sex with he might not love
