Pick one you like and talk to him. Don't expect a deeply philosophical conversation. Boys are slower to mature than girls.

And as teenagers boys have a tendency to think with their 🍆. Especially when a girl starts the conversation. He's likely going to assume you're talking to him because you think he's God's gift to the gene pool and want to practice what it takes to reproduce. It doesn't matter what subject you lead with. He'll find a way to make it about getting his 🍆.

Sorry. We're all like that as teenagers. No exceptions. Doesn't matter if he's the prom king or the kid in the corner talking to the planters. Unless you're actually asking him to be sexually active with you then you need to be specific.

And if you're out on a date that's going well, don't forget what he thinks with. No matter how well it's going, he's still driven by the 🍆. In case you find yourself equally driven by a desire to reproduce, have condoms in your purse. You can't trust that he's thought of it.

Is there a dance or some other school event coming up? If so, ask him if he'd like to go to it with you. Or, tell him you're going here or there to eat or get ice cream and ask if he'd like to go along with you. You can talk while you're both eating and get to know each other better. Or, if you wanna take a casual walk, ask him if he'd like to go along with you.
If you both have lunch at the same time, sit next to him in the cafeteria and find things to talk about.
However, there's a possibility he's got his sites set on someone else so, just keep that in mind.
