Is he going to propose?

He said that for our 1 year anniversary, he wants us to take some time off work to go to a place 2-3 hours away from our house and go to a spa together to relax and wind down.

The spa will also be near a beach, apparently and he wants it just to be the two of us only.

He also wants to do the planning for our one year anniversary. It’s usually both of us planning things like this, but this time he just wants to take charge, so I’m allowing it.

What do you guys think?

I mean come on, taking the lead on planning everything special for your 1 year? Getting you alone at a beautiful relaxing spot? He's totally setting the scene for a proposal. No way is he just taking you there to "wind down," not for such a big anniversary.

Will do! You’re cool, man! Today, I’m pretty sure he did mention taking our relationship to the next level. He spoke about eventually moving in with me and he’s slowly taking the steps for that to happen.

He referred to himself as a fiancé/husband, when he is just my boyfriend/partner at the moment, so I don’t know what exactly this means to me, but I’m pretty sure he did state that he wants to take our relationship to the next level. 🙂

Obviously, he’s not moving in straight away, but he does want to eventually and is slowly preparing himself to do so.

He has a friend that lives with his girlfriend, but they aren’t engaged for some reason and have been together for several years.

My friends and family have been acting more interesting lately towards me too. Like more respectful and like they know something that I don’t.

Apparently a few months ago, he told me that he asked for my dead mother’s blessing after making a speech for her birthday. My dad has let a few comments slip. He has started calling his parents my in-laws and said something along the lines of “When you and ____________ get married, you guys should think about moving to this area cause it’s near the beach.” Do you think his friends will ever put a ring on it? They all have live in girlfriends with kids, but I told him that I might not want kids and said that even if I do want kids, it has to be after marriage and he respected that entirely.

He keeps telling me that him and my sister and him and my best friend are talking about certain topics that I’m not involved in, which is really interesting. He also has my father’s phone number. Do you think that his best friend knows something that I don’t? His friend thinks that I’m alright and I think that it’s due to him seeing my partner get hurt by his previous relationships.

Thanks a lot! You’re amazing yourself. His Mum said that she is glad that I have become a part of their family as a text for the New Year. He did call my mum his mother-in-law and his mum my mother-in-law right in front of her. He also mentioned me contributing to a savings account with him that he is about to open up for us.
