Is eating outside more romantic?

I wouldn't say more. They both have their own appeal.
I love the idea of a picnic or eating outside at a restaurant patio when the weather is nice. But that comes with having to swat away flies a lot of the time, but you definitely feel more energy being outside a lot of the time.
Inside you usually hear the music that's playing better which can add to the ambience and can be a bit more comfortable with seats.
I'd prefer to go for a walk/hike ending with a picnic or grabbing a bite from some place along the way in the summer. And I'd just grab coffee (a matcha latte in my case 😂) and sit and chill at some cafe if it's the winter. So it really depends on the weather for me.
it can really be...
unless.. BUG OFF MOSQUITOES!!@#$!@#$!@#$
I love eating outside, it gives you a chance to sit and people watch. But around here you will get attacked by a seagull and I've even had robins try and mug me. It's nice to sit with someone and watch the world go by.
Nothing romantic about dodging flies while trying to eat a meal.

I love eating on my lower deck. There's a patio fan which keeps the bugs away and it looks out into the meadow with a small waterfall. I have Italian cafe lights overhead and a bistro table out there. Makes for a great wine and cheese location. IR heater if it gets chilly.
Guess it depends on the scenario.
I think the most romantic meal I ever had was on a date at a very posh restaurant with an incredible view of New York City. We both had a hard time keeping our clothes on during the entire meal. It was nighttime, the twinkling city lights from way up on that high floor looked like something out of a movie and everything was just perfect. Two bottles of a good champagne didn't hurt either.
I eat at the Spaghetti Bender in Newport, and they have an 'outside' court, with a huge tree, spiral staircase going to an upstairs office. So you are literally eating outside.
Definitely my preference.
I’m just happy to eat. I’ve never viewed it as romantic though. If it’s a nice warm summer night perfect breeze, I can appreciate the atmosphere.
To each their own. For me, rainy and cold weather are better inside just because the coziness counteracts being confined. In dry weather when it's cool or warmer, outside is far more vibrant.
Outside, like the park bench or patio?
hell nah! Eating outside has never been a joy for me. Bugs, weather, people staring at my cram good into my bottom less pit.
It depends on where, traffic, people staring at you, noise, weather, wind, bugs, dust/dirt flying around,
But under the right circumstances it can be nice.
Not necessarily.
It depends more on the placement, arrangement, and how the food is displaced.
We have a lovely pergola with a large stone table and often in the summer we eat alfresco and it is lovely and can be romantic with a fire going and all.
Inside or outside can vary immensely, is some random dive bar more romantic than a cliff top vista? How about a picnic table on an industrial estate vs a candle lit posh restaurant?
Only if bugs have decided to stay away from my food.
I am not sure if that comes under romantic thing to do
Depends where outside lol, picnic surely is but like having a burger somewhere on the street def not. Dusty and low effort.
Eating from each other hand is sexy
I never liked it. Bugs keep trying to get on my food!
... until the flies come. Then she starts bitching about the flies, but she insisted on eating outside... even though you told her the flies would come. Yeah, romantic.
It depends. A picnic is very romantic. Eating in McDonalds parking lot is not.
Even inside can be romantic, it's all about creating the moments
Nope, sunburn and sweating are not to my brain 🧠🤧
Wind blowing dirt onto and bugs landing upon the food does not sound so great to me.
It can be nice if there aren’t tons of bugs out
For bugs maybe.
I don't know if it's romantic but it's fun
Only if it isn't cold or snowing
Uhhh... sure why not?
I would say yes
Not really.
Yes.
