1 yIt is not necessarily a red flag but it is disrespectful in certain situations. That said, it is a part of colloquial language in some places or amongst some demographics and viewed differently.
A hypothetical conversation with the term as if watching it being used on an animal documentary:
"Get them bitches out, yeow!" the black human male says.
"Hey, this bitch be right here," the white American female retorts.
"Yeah, I got me some fine bitches. What kind of mileage you got?" the male teases the female.
The female smacks the male in a playful way on the arm. "Don't be calling me bitches with mileage!"
"Dang babygirl, you gonna get that booty out?" the male attempts to court the female.
"Yeah, no. Booty bitches like this, we is keepin' it real!" the female rejects the male.
"Nawhhh," the male makes a lamentation like a dying giraffe.
The courtship is unsuccessful. Better luck next time.15 Reply- 1 y
Bro, WHAT? You watch too much tv.
The documentary continues. . .
"Bro, WHAT? You watch too much tv," a new white American female chimes in and pecks at the camera lens.
The black human male hurries over to interrupt her. "Them bitches is out, yeow!" He dances around her.
"That's a red flag! You don't have any respect for women in general," she admonishes him.
"Nawhhh, babygirl! You gonna get that booty out?" The male courts the female.
"Someone, hurry! What is the number for 911? What is the number for 911?" she yawls.
Startled by her cry and the sudden howls of sirens in the distance, the black male makes a beeline for a fence and jumps over it in an attempt to flee. "Black lives matter! Black lives matter!" he cries like a dying giraffe.
Another unsuccessful courtship.- 1 y
Sir, please stop. You're offensive.
This reminds me how that guy on TikTok mocked Americans with the "Look, Mom, I'm American. I'm non-binary. That's transphobic. That's offensive."
Asker1 yAlso he’s lndian not black

1 yIt is, to me, and I'm not even a girl (last time I checked). The ONLY time I call one a bitch is if she actually IS one!! Like, my ex-sisters and 2 of my ex-cousins!
I remember about 25 to 30 years ago, dad & I were sitting on the front porch and this guy next door, probably in his 30's, who's never had a girlfriend before, as far as I know, pulls up in his car, gets out with a rather nice looking young woman and comes over to our porch before going into his house and says to my dad, "I just want to introduce you to my broad." That was the last any of us ever saw her! Just imagine if he would've said, "bitch"! I'm PRETTY SURE Bob was just trying to be funny but, I doubt she took it that way or liked him calling her that!10 Reply

1 yIt is fine if he refers to other women as bitches. But if he refer to you as a bitch as wel... leave him. You are in for am abusive future relationship. I say this from first hand experience. Also look at how he treats his mother.

Right!
Getting treated like dirt is the only way to get woman to like you, otherwise you stay in the friend zone, so again this is a female created problem.

Strongly disagree. How us ut a fenale created provlem? If you constantly stay in the "friend zone" ask why. If women you're interested in keep pushing you back into that zone, then respectfully ask them if they will have a chat & explain why. Maybe it's something as simple as stinky feet or as complex as you give off a creepy stalker vibe. You won't know & can't change it if you don't ask. I'm sure someone will help you

@MsBell2018 Women put guys in the friend zone that they don’t find sexually attractive and therefore not interested in a relationship with simple as that.
- 1 y
@Tomisworthless not always
- 1 y
@MsBell2018 certainly there are exceptions to everything but you will concede that this is the primary reason 95%+ of the time
- 1 y
@Tomisworthless I think its more than just not being sexually attractive.
- 1 y
When a guy is attractive but gives off that weird stalker vibe or the brotherly vibe, I don't care how hot he may be.
- 1 y
@MsBell2018 my experiences say otherwise and women I’ve heard address this say the same. No attraction = friends
- 1 y
@Tomisworthless to some degree I can agree, but like you said, there's exceptions
- 1 y
@MsBell2018 there are exceptions to all things. So I think you do agree to the full degree
- 1 y
@Tomisworthless to a degree 🤣🤣🤣
1 yI’d say so.
I’d ask him to explain why he says it and tell him that it doesn’t make you feel good.
I also feel that there needs to be a bit more context for the situation of why he’s calling them a bitch.10 Reply2.4K opinions shared on Dating topic. I would say yes.
To me it is a derogatory term, but it seems to be used more and more now.12 Reply- 1 y
Exactly. It's used casually interchangeably like some term of endearment like girl, honey, sweetie, hun, etc. Trouble is, the younger women today accept being called thar & will even laugh it off. Thing is, we teach people how to treat us! If a man calls a woman that & she doesn't speak up & say something like "don't call me that" or "you can't talk to me like that" then that's indirectly consenting-even if she doesn't mean to.
- 1 y
@MsBell2018 spot on.
1 yLack of respect to address women as such. Women can be bitches and some are full on, but you don’t call women to their face bitches.
12 Reply- 1 y
You better say that! If you do, be prepared for the smoke that comes with it.
Any self respecting woman doesn't like being called that any more than a man likes being called that. A man will jack another man's jaw for calling him that! - 1 y

Asker1 yOh thanks!
- 1 y
This is a learned behavior, either from someone at home, his peers or someone he's emulating. If it's something you don't like, speak up. You teach him how to talk to you, around you, what's acceptable & what isn't. Yes, he has the right to say whatever he wants because he's a technical adult, however, you too have the right to not be exposed to things & people that disrupt your peace, make you upset or feel off, etc. Only you decide who & what to let in & acceptable into your life & space. Best of luck
Asker1 y@MsBell2018 thanks❤️
