What do you do about info pictures etc on your phone when you get into a relationship? When would you worry about it?

I'm not near to getting into a relationship! But I am wondering. Like, on my phone now obv I got dating apps that I would delete. But I also have like a journal I keep that contains my thoughts. And a locked folder with pictures. I mean, I guess for a serious relationship this stuff could go but some stuff I might want to remember/look back on? But I'm pretty sure a guy is going to think you are cheating if you refused to show him? And my last boyfriend wanted to check my phone often and I didn't even have stuff like that then. But he would go mad if even a dating app advert came up!

For me, having a serious relationship means I can hand you over my phone in case you need it knowing that you won't be looking into my convos, the apps I have or the pictures in it. And If I don't give my phone to you, you won't be trying to sneak in if you happened to. know. my password.

I've told my partner, the day she asks me to hand over my phone so she can dig in to find something that wouldn't be correct, that day we break up, no questions asked. And the same goes for me. The day I no longer trust her and demand to check her phone, we are done

I think it's probably okay for you to keep the pictures until the relationship gets serious. Then you can delete them. (But don't be like wanking off to them or anything.)

That's true. Though I have been using my Facebook as a journal (my posts set to me only). So nobody would see my things if on my FB. But if guy I was with opened it on my phone then he would. Its gonna be hard to transfer it all now to another place! But ai guess should consider it.

Erm. I have like the profile pictures of my recent sexual partners? (Fbs/hook ups). So that would be bad. Especially as I'm 44 and if my "relationship" guy was like late 30's early 40's and then sees hot guys in their 20's I hooked up with? So either I gotta delete it. Or vow never to show it... but I feel that would lead to trust issues.
